| Bio: | I'm interested in passionate conversation. I want to know what moves you, what things keep you up at night, either in joy or pain, or in the grey spaces in between. I want to know about those spaces between the light and the dark, and fellow traveling companions on that shifting journey are always welcome. I'm deeply spiritual, I try not to hold a lot back, and I'm generally pretty forthright. I'm open to deep exploration, and finding the sacred in everyday life.

* My partner Jess and I have been together for seven years and married for two. We're in a
bit of transition now as I'm looking for a job and she's in the process of applying to
seminary (UCC).
* We have two cats.
* Despite my professional social work title, I've also been in (and continue to be in)
mental health treatment at various levels
of intensity for the past seven years. I'm a survivor of childhood sexual, physical, and
emotional abuse and have resulting diagnoses of PTSD and depression.
* I'm not a therapist, but a macro social worker. My passion is in planning and program
development, community organizing, and human services management.
* Books that are really important to me include Jeanette Winterson's Art and Lies, Audre
Lorde's Sister Outsider, and all of Adrienne Rich's poetry.
